Purchase, order and delivery.

Alfred Verhoef strives to have at least one flute in every type of wood in stock at the atelier.

dwarsfluit kopen

The flutes can be tried in the atelier. In some cases, a flute can be taken on approval to be played in a different acoustic or with other musicians. This is upon the condition that the flute stays within the Netherlands and that the flute is insured. Atelier AV can also organise insurance for this situation with the insurance costs being between 10 and 20 euros per flute.

If a flutist or orchestra has made a choice and they want to buy one or more flutes, they will need to transfer the necessary monies to Atelier AV within 10 working days of receiving an invoice. The flute remains the property of Atelier Alfred Verhoef until the complete amount has been paid.

If a standard model is ordered, one third of the total amount needs to be paid within eight days.
The period of time between the order being placed and the actual delivery will be decided upon with consultation between the purchaser and Atelier AV.
Exceeding the time limit due to various circumstances can occur and will have no effect upon agreements that have been made. If the instrument is ready and it meets the wishes of the flutist, the balance of the remaining payment need to be made. The flutist does have the possibility to change the instrument for another they may prefer, provided it is available in the atelier and any difference in price is settled. This only applies to the standard model: open hole keys, e-mech, B-foot and in some cases, also C-foot.

VAT

Flutes sold from the atelier and also within the EU will be charged with the VAT rate of that moment. Foreign buyers within the euro zone, with a VAT number which is recognized by the Dutch tax authorities, can use the VAT-0 construction and they don’t need to pay VAT. For sale to countries outside the euro zone, please check the conditions that are valid for that country.
